though it's mostly a montage, with nothing said, you can more or less get the gist of how it was made, from the size of the team that created it [was actually quite surprised, i thought it was a solo effort], to the storyboarding, even creating the illusion that the cartoon was holding an object: that process was rather interesting, I'm an amateur so I wouldn't know to begin with, but I never realised it was done or could be done like that.
